Global Manufacturing Company is currently looking for a skilled Service Sales Manager in North America.

What are you looking for in a Sales Service Manager role?

This opportunity is responsible for aligning the organizations approach with the needs of the customer to penetrate the local market.  You will develop and implement of a group-wide sales strategy, coordinate customer approach and leverage synergies through between sales departments.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the VP of Service and other business areas to fine-tune service sales strategy
  • Coordinate development of service sales strategy within US & Canada
  • Lead service sales activities, allocate resources and prioritize initiatives
  • Manage annual service sales budget
  • Coordinate service sales planning, forecasting and reporting
  • Ensure employee engagement by effectively communicating service sales strategy and vision
  • Work together with capital equipment sales teams to ensure coordinated sales approach.

 

Qualification:

  • BS or equivalent in Engineering preferred
  • 5 + years capital equipment or service sales experience
  • Experience managing remote team members
  • Familiarity with concept of service offerings and local market requirements of different customer groups a plus
  • Excellent communicator, written and verbal, able to work with individuals (internal and external) across a wide range of levels, functions, brands and cultures
  • Capable of implementing strategic service sales plan
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of time; some international travel may be required
